Starland Ballroom, Sayerville, NJ 11.4.11 – Touring in support of their March 2011 release Vices & Virtues, the 2 original members of Panic! at the Disco made a stop in beautiful Sayerville NJ to take over Starland Ballroom for a night.
Shooting at Starland is always a crapshoot. Sometimes you get some decent light, but other times the light is terrible. Terribly balanced, terrible hues, over-saturated. This was one of those night. Take the lighting out and Starland is a good palce to shoot. The stage height is great, the size might be a litle on the small side but not terrible and the pit is a good enough size for a group of photographers. Shot mostly withe the 5D2 and 16-35 and then some with the 7D and 24-70. Right around ISO 1600.
