Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined night one of Firefly Music Festival.  This was the second time I hd a chance to cover these legends and it was almost as good as the first time.  The big difference, and I will probably say this about every set from the main stage at Firefly, was that the stage was just a bit too high.  I felt like I missed shots I normally would have gotten.  Add to that the video guys and the high monitors, and it makes you wish for what could have been.  Flea was his normal energetic self, as was all of Red Hot Chili Peppers really, and the beauty of this night was somehow getting Anthony Keidis with his hands and mic away from his face.
