Garbage at The Wellmont Theatre

Garbage is one of those bands that hit the scene during my 20s and I was thrilled to get the chance to cover them at The Wellmont Theatre.  The lighting was a big mix.  During the first song there were strong white spotlights coming from the sides of the stage and it took me a bit to adjust to such brilliant lighting.  After the first song, it was much more moody lighting with a magenta tint up front and since I couldn’t get skin tones right, especially on Shirley Manson, I converted most to black and white which I think suits the set well.

This was the smallest photo pit I have seen at The Wellmont and there were 5 of us sharing it.  I probably should have stuck around and shot from the crowd a bit.
