Terminal 5, NYC, 4.5.12 – The Naked and Famous made a stop in NYCs Terminal 5 to a sold out crowd. The New Zealand based Indie Pop band is touring in support of their 2010 release Passive Me Aggressive You which broke out last year with the single “Punching in a Dream”. Here are the photos from the night.
A few photographers who I spoke with had covered The Naked and Famous the last time they were in New York City and had warned me about the challenging lighting. Luckily, they went with a new lighting design this time at Terminal 5. Very blue, but not as difficult to work with as I expected. The Naked and Famous were a fun shoot with good energy and a nice light set up which allowed some creativity. I shot this show at my normal Terminal 5 settings; iso3200 wide open at around 1/160.
