Prudential Center, Newark, NJ, 5.04.2012 – Sleigh Bells, a band with roots in the Garden State, opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers at Prudential Center. Here are my pics from the night.
This was my second time shooting Sleigh Bells in the past few months. I wasn’t a fan of shooting them when they headlines Terminal 5. It was pure strobe lights or darkness the whole time. I was afraid we would get that tonight at Prudential Center but we didn’t. We actually got some of the best light I have shot with all year. I loved shooting this set. I’m not saying the lighting was perfect or the shoot was easy, but it was workable, and the choice of lighting made for some nice skin tones.
