Grouplove is by far one of the most smiling-inducing bands you will see perform live.  They get ugly to make you feel good, and lay it all out there every time I have seen them.  By the time they are done they are a sweaty mess and fans can’t wait for them to come back so they can see them again.

When I found out I had all access I was psyched.  I had spent a bunch of time with them at Firefly Festival and got to know them a little.  Since their lighting is so tough to shoot I liked having some extra time to make sure I had some decent photos.  Their lighting is heavily backlit and you end up missing a lot of shots you would have normally gotten but the shots you do get you still love.  I always try to capture the energy of the band and I hope I did it here.
