The McKittrick Hotel, New York City, 1.29.2014 – Photos of Grammy Award winner John Legend performing solo at the Citi Presents Evenings with Legends at The McKittrick Hotel on January 29, 2014.
I have covered John Legend now on 3 different occasions and all of them were completely different types of shows. The first time he played Firefly Festival with a full band and backing singers. The second time he played the Benefit in Central Park to benefit SummerStage and this time a private show for Citi card members called “Citi Evenings with Legends” where it was just him and his piano.
This show was a seated show and we shot in between people. My ISO at The McKittrick Hotel ranged from 3200 to 6400 and we shot for the first 3 songs.
