Heart will always hold a special place with me as they have been rocking since before I was born. Their big hits of the 80s were part of my childhood and I got to discover their other work s I got older. This was one of the best shows I have seen in long time. I’d like to say I can’t believe how good they sounded but of course I believed it. Ann and Nancy Wilson are simply legends, and I am honored to have the opportunity to photograph them.
We were allowed to shoot the first 3 songs of Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience, the first 3 form Heart and then the encore where both bands came out to do an all Zeppelin encore. This was the 3rd show in s many months where I have bumped the focus switch on the Canon 24-70 and had to toss away some great images.
