P!nk at Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden, NYC, March, 22, 2013 – Photos from P!NK’s “The Truth About Love” tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 22, 2013.

 

Sometimes you moan and groan when you are told you have a soundboard shoot.  But with a show like P!nk’s “The Truth About Love” you very quickly do not care.  Add to that the fact that she spends much of her first song suspended from a harness 40 feet in the air, you realize there is no other way to shoot the first 3 songs anyway.  With a last minute approval I again had to make-due with my equipment for the soundboard shoot and shot most of this with my 7d, 70-200 2.8 IS II and a borrowed Canon 2x tele mark III.  Besides a slight loss in focus speed, I think the combo performed beautifully for the P!nk show.
