Jane’s Addiction at Terminal 5

I love showing up to gigs to find out there is no photo pit.  No really, I do.  For Jane’s Addiction, they didn”t even tell us when we got to the door at Terminal 5.  When we tried going into the pit, and walked down the normal runway, there just wasn’t anything there.  I know Perry likes to get up close and yes it is all about the fan experience, but sure as heck I am going to complain about it on my blog.  I would have showed up with different gear.

Anyway, we got to shoot some from the side and my step stool would have helped.  After that I went up to the balcony to grab a few and then pouted a little more and headed out.  Do I like the set?  Yes.  Perry was very well lit while the rest of the band was basically in the dark.  So I was rolling the dial on my 5D3 most of the night.
