Photos: PiL (Public Image Limited) played Hammerstein Ballroom

Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC, 10.13.2012 – Johnny Rotten, former member of the punk legends, The Sex Pistols, brought Public Image Limited (PiL), the band he fronted through the post-punk era to a second night in NYC at Hammerstein Ballroom. 

This was show one in the 2 shows in one night that I pulled off on Saturday.  PiL went on late at 8:25 so I shot 10 minutes of the set and ran up to see Morrissey at Terminal 5.  The lighting for Public Image Limited at Music Hall of Williamsburg was horrendous from what I hear but the lighting at Hammerstein Ballroom was pretty decent.  Very backlit but enough light up front that John Lydon’s face wasn’t in the dark.  The rest of the members of PiL were though.
