Photos: Alanis Morissette in Concert at the Wellmont Theatre

The Wellmont Theatre, Montclair, NJ, 8.29.2012 – Alanis Morissette was responsible for one of the biggest albums of the 90s with her release of Jagged Little Pill.  After a long hiatus from recording an album, she returns with her latest album Havoc and Bright Lights.  Check out photos from Alanis Morisstte’s tour kickoff at The Wellmont Theatre.

So Alanis Morissette is back and I was asked to cover this show at The Wellmont Theatre.  Normally The Wellmont has a photo pit and we get to shoot our typical 3 songs.  I was warned in advance that she would sing her first song from back stage.  You would think that if this is planned Alanis Morissette would allow us to shoot up to song 4 since we miss out on the first song.  Instead we were basically allowed to shoot 2 songs.  Oh, and there was no photo pit.  It was there.  We just weren’t allowed in it.  So the variety in my shots of Alanis Morissette is definitely lacking.  All long shots and all from the side aisles at the Wellmont Theatre.
