Photos: Slash with Myles Kennedy at The Wellmont Theatre

 

The Wellmont Theatre, Montclair, NJ, – Slash, continuing to establish himself as a hard rock guitar god even after Guns ‘n Roses, played with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to a sold out house at The Wellmont Theatre.  Check out my photos of the ever top hat wearing Slash below.

 

Slash released an album and is touring with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators and stopped in at The Wellmont Theatre before playing Hammerstein Ballroom in a few weeks.  This was my first time covering Slash whether it be solo or with Guns and Roses.  We got our normal 3 songs.  Lighting was good and Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators had great energy on stage but it felt like it took Slash a little bit to ramp up his energy.  Lighting was pretty good with Slash being featured as well as Myles Kennedy.  The Conspirators were a bit on the dark side.  I shot most of this show around iso2000, wide open at around 1/200th.
