Terminal 5, NYC, 8.8.2012 – Who would have thought that Bloc Party would sell out 3 straight nights at Terminal 5, a space that holds 3,000 people. I’m not sure if even Bloc Party thought it was a good idea to try it. But they did, and Terminal 5 was filled with 3 nights of a sold out crowd at Terminal 5. Touring in support of their upcoming release appropriately titled Four, here are my photos from Bloc Party.
Bloc Party at Terminal 5 was a typical Terminal 5 shoot. The lights were good, but not great. The pit was full, bot not crowded. It was a middle of the road shoot for me. Bloc Party has pretty good energy and you get some opportunities for decent shots. I would have liked a little more variety in their stage act, but they are a pretty fun shoot. Most of my shots are at iso 2000, wide open at around 1/200.
