Webster Hall, NYC, 7.10.2012 – Neon Trees, who in the last year have garnered respect from everyone from the Alt Rock to Pop to gay community, sold out Webster Hall last week in New York City. With their typical high energy, crowd pleasing set, they played a mid-summer set in a packed venue with no air conditioning and no one seamed to care how hot it was. Neaon Trees are absolutely one of my favorite bands to shoot. Even if Webster Hall is one of my least favorite places to cover a show. Neon Trees’ show is a combination of a great sounding band along with great visuals. The band has talent and they all know how to work the stage, especially Tyler. In a venue that was without air conditioning on a 90+ degree night, their energy was still high, and this obviously makes for a great band to shoot. Webster Hall again barely had a photo pit as we were all pushed up against the stage but once Neon Trees played their first note, you forget about teh shortcomings of Webster Hall.
