I’m not much of a metal fan so Baroness was not really on my radar. I’m glad they opened the festival as it gave me a chance to check them out and I really liked them. They were a real good band to kick things off and they got a very good reaction from the crowd that was there. I’d love to shoot these guys on a stage not 8 feet high. We were allowed to back up into the VIP area a bit to get a better perspective, something we weren’t allowed to do later in the days.
