Best Buy Theater, NYC, 5.26.2012 – Thrice is making their rounds on their farewell tour and stopped in to a sold out Best Buy Theater in New York City. Check out my pics from the night by clicking through the break.
Shooting at Best Buy is generally a good experience. The pit is large, the stage is a great height and the lighting in generally good, depending on the band. Good for me might be different for others, but the first 3 songs were generally good for Thrice. We were allowed to shoot the first 4 tonight but the fourth song was a complete waste of time. Washed out, over saturated reds. I basically put my camera at my side.
Thrice has good energy and is a fun band to shoot. Being a 4 piece, with a limited stage set-up, the band got a little lost on the Best Buy stage. There was a ton of room for them to work with but they were generally far away from each other.
