Izod Center, East Rutherford, NJ, 2.18.12 – Sara Evans closed out her support on the Rascal Flatts tour Saturday night where she was touring in support of her 6th studio album, “Stronger“. Looking striking, as usual, she playfully bantered with both her band and crowd and encouraged people to get up out of their seats and dance, especially if she could in “these 7 inch heels”.
This is one of those nights of lesson learned. Sara Evans was the 2nd of 3 acts that night at Izod Center. With normally very good lighting my night started at iso1250. The first act Hunter Hayes dimmed the lights for the second song when he sat down in front of his piano. My iso was raised appropriately to 3200. The problem was I never lowered it back down after his set. Not a very big deal as both my bodies perform well at high iso but remember to check your settings throughout the night.
Sara Evans stood back on the main stage throughout her performance coming out to the front stage in short intervals. So I ended up shooting most of set with my 70-200.
