Photos: The Wombats at Webster Hall

Webster Hall, NYC, 4.26.2012 – With all the buzz going on downstairs in the studio at Webster Hall for The Hives, you wouldn’t realize The Wombats were killing it upstairs in the main room in front of a sold out crowd.  Touring in support of …This Modern Glitch, here are my pics of The Wombats in the main room at Webster Hall.

In terms of lighting, this show ranks as one of the worst shows I have ever shot.  When bands have absolutely no front lighting, it is nearly impossible to get decent shots.  Its hard to focus on darkness and nearly impossible to get proper exposure.  I say this and realize it isnt about the photographer, its just the breaks we sometimes get the more we shoot.  I shot this at iso 6400 wide open, obviously.

Bitter Photographer
