Best Buy Theater, NYC, 11.05.2012 – Rock legends Blue Oyster Cult put on a special 40th Anniversary show that featured the band’s current line-up as well as a special reunion of the original Blue Oyster Cult line-up in what was a historic show at Best Buy Theater. For Blue Oyster Cult we got to shoot the entire show as opposed to the first 3 songs we normally get. Best Buy allowed this as, being a reunion show, the people on stage would change all night mixing both the current BOC line-up and the original one. There were probably 5 photographers there, 4 of whom must have known the band, and then me. They had all access passes and I didn’t so I got to shoot from the sides of the venue as well as the back of the house. There was a brief period I did not know this and got to shoot a sing up against the stage.
